Serving Simcoe, Dufferin and York Counties and surrounding area. Hello My name is Ian Buchanan. I am currently working on this website and until it is complete I will give you some basic info about myself and my business, Probe Home Inspections.

I am a Licenced Electrician with 40 yrs inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining and installing electrical systems and equipment. I am a certified home inspector with INTERnachi ( International Association of certified home inspectors ) and qualified to perform home inspections through the OAHI (Ontario Association of Home Inspectors ). I have E & O Insurance and I am reliable and honest and represent YOU the client and put your interests first.
My rates are $350.00 all inclusive for a house up to 3000 sq ft.
$300.00 all inclusive for a house less than 1200 sq ft.
$400.00 all inclusive for a house more than 3000 sq ft. Also included with all inspections is the "Home Reference Book" Reporting system, which is a comprehensive guide to home maintenance and ownership, ( a $69 value ).
